My name is Nadège Bucaille, illustrator and Art Director. I grew up surrounded by the wildflowers of Haute-Savoie, inheriting a love of gardens and botany from my grandfather.
Among the roses he created, one bore a name that has now become mine: La Mandrine.
This name now marks a new chapter in my journey. A graduate of the Geneva School of Fine Arts, I worked for twenty-five years as an Art Director for major brands.

Today, I return to drawing and, through botanical representation, pointillism, and graphic composition, I develop a universe inspired by the plant world, where precision of observation, color, rhythm, and movement converge.
I also rediscover the importance of time, the dedication and care taken to faithfully represent a plant in all its delicacy and vulnerability.
My creations are destined to come to life on carefully chosen surfaces: the texture of paper, the softness of silk, packaging, or even the porcelain of fine china.
“It’s the time you wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important”
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry,
The Little Prince
